Chelsea defender Gary Cahill was delighted with victory over West Ham United.
It was the third 2-0 victory in the league since Newcastle and gives the Blues a three-point lead with the halfway stage in the campaign almost upon us.
"We are very pleased with the clean sheet," said Cahill to chelseafc.com.
"That is two in the last couple of games now, and we are pleased with the performance against a tough team. West Ham are playing extremely well this season so we knew it was going to be hard but I thought we were outstanding again.
"We fought well, we worked hard during the game and we played our football when we got hold of it.
"When we didn't have the ball we defended solidly, we all defended together, and when we did have the ball we showed our quality and some of the attacking play was great, we created quite a few chances.
"That is two performances in a row we have been happy with."
