Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed that defenders Gary Cahill and David Luiz are still both out of the team because of injury.
English centre-back Cahill damaged his hamstring in the epic Champions League clash with Barcelona last week and will miss tomorrow night's Premier League meeting with Newcastle United while his Brazilian counterpart Luiz is still affected by a hamstring injury of his own.
"We need to check their progress on a daily basis, but we have Branislav Ivanovic back from suspension and we have a few options.
"They're progressing well, but it's impossible to put a date on it, hopefully they will be ready before the Champions League final (against Bayern Munich on May 19).""Gary Cahill and David Luiz are still out, but they are the only two injuries we have," he said ahead of the home clash with the Magpies.
