World Cup winning keeper Gigi Buffon has already selected the next Azzurri custodian. Buffon, currently recovering from an adductor injury, thinks Cagliari's Federico Marchetti will inherit the Azzurri gloves.
"It's not true that there aren't any good young goalkeepers in Italy - people just need to have more faith in them," Buffon told Italy's Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Marco Amelia, Gianluca Curci and Antonio Mirante are good, but my favourite is Federico Marchetti at Cagliari - he has a great career ahead of him."
