Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini hopes to keep hold of Radja Nainggolan next season.
The midfielder is on-loan from Inter Milan.
“First, the player must want to stay, we haven't talked to him yet," Giulini told the reporters after the Lega assembly. “Then, everything is in Inter's hands.
“He will return to Appiano Gentile, if [coach Antonio] Conte wants to keep him, he will remain with the Nerazzurri.
“Otherwise, like last year, we'll talk about it again. Probably in September."
