Cagliari director Mario Passetti admits they hope to hold onto Inter Milan midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

Nainggolan is on a season-long deal with the Sardinians.

“Why not? The impact he has on the squad is evident," Passetti told the reporters during an event in Milan. “He is having a great season.

“We will speak about his future in a little while. It has been a complicated operation, but a genius one by President [Tommaso] Giulini.

“Maybe we can keep him if we reach the Europa League."
