Cadiz president Vizcaino talks signing Ramos, Alberto and Suso

Cadiz president Manuel Vizcaino admits they tried to sign Sergio Ramos ahead of Sevilla.

Vizcaino made an attempt for the Real Madrid legend when he came off contract PSG over the summer.

He recalled to Diario de Cadiz: "Sergio wanted to either play for Sevilla or go to Arabia or wherever. There was no room for the illusion that he would come here. He has sometimes said that he would like to play for Cádiz.

"But this summer there was no opportunity, he was clear that he wanted to return to his team. That he had the b***s to return to his team over money and that he said that he would like to play for Cádiz, I'll stick with that about Sergio Ramos, a great player."

Vizcaino also raised the prospect of bring Luis Alberto back to Spain from Lazio.

He said: "Luis Alberto wants to play for Cádiz. He is in his maturity as a footballer. But he still earns more money than all the Cádiz forwards combined.

"In the contacts we have with him he talks about his desire, but he has just renewed with Lazio.

"There is another player, Suso, from Cádiz, who wants to play for Cádiz, he is very fond of him. But he is at Sevilla, in a friendly club. You never know what can happen in the future"
