Borussia Dortmund starlet Youssoufa Moukoko is inching closer to a move away from the club.

The teenager is out of contract in the summer and has not signed a renewal.

Now that the January transfer window is open, Moukoko can sign a pre-contract with another team for a summer move on a free.

Per football.london, Chelsea are among the teams that will attempt to convince the starlet to join.

Moukoko is not short of offers, while Dortmund are desperate to hold onto him as well.

The youngster will have to decide if he moves to the club that offers the best financial package, or the simplest route to regular first team football.

Sporting director Sebastian Kehl has pushed for a resolution to his situation, though. Having been reported as a target for Chelsea in November, there has been over six weeks since then with his decision no clearer.

"Of course we want to make the decision in a timely manner," Kehl said. "It is important for everyone involved to have clarity."
