Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mateu Morey says former teammate Jude Bellingham deserves his Real Madrid move.

Morey came through the system at Barcelona before leaving for Real Mallorca. Morey joined BVB in 2020 and played with Bellingham for the past three years.

He told AS: "He is an excellent teammate, a boy with a great desire to learn and supportive of everyone. It has been a pleasure sharing a dressing room with him. As a player enough is known about him, but as a person he is a ten.

"I have shared the field and locker room with great players and I can say that Bellingham is a world class superclass. I think he can mark an era in elite football.

"He is a total gamer. He has shown it all season. He dominates all facets of the game and having a player like that in your team gives you a lot.

"This type of player is always prepared for anything. Being named the best player in the Bundesliga is not a prize that is given away. It is for a reason. I think he will continue to show it from here on out."
