BVB chief Watzke feels 'personally' responsible over upset Mislintat Arsenal move

Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke believes he's to blame for Sven Mislintat's defection to Arsenal.

BVB have lost their 'diamond eye' in the past week, as the chief scout has agreed to quit his hometown club to move to the Gunners.

Mislintat has made it no secret his decision to leave was due to the way he was treated last season by former BVB coach Thomas Tuchel. Tuchel banned Mislintat from the training ground while in charge.

"It personally hurt seeing this," said Watzke. "Mislintat was treated like that for a year and a half.

"It was my personal mistake."
