Borussia Dortmund chief exec Carsten Cramer says they're satisfied with their decision to reject Cristiano Ronaldo.
Upon being released by Manchester United, Ronaldo was offered to BVB before eventually signing for Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr.
Cramer recalled to Kicker: "Fundamentally, the value of Borussia Dortmund does not depend on social media followings.
"We are a football club, that is the key idea. We can have the best marketing and the best ideas, but if we lose 3-0 at home to Freiburg won't do anything.
"Even with the best presentation of the brand, the main thing is still the product."
