League Two Burton will host Aston Villa at the Pirelli Stadium in the first pre-season friendly of the 2012/13 campaign. Albion commercial director Fleur Robinson said: "We are delighted to be able to announce this match as a great way to kick off our pre-season.

"We look forward to hosting Aston Villa and we are sure that this game will prove a popular attraction for Burton Albion supporters." The game will be played on Saturday, July 14 and kick-off is at 3.00pm.
