Burnley midfielder Johann Berg Gudmundsson is floating after helping Iceland qualify for the World Cup.

Victory over Kosovo last night secured Iceland a place in next summer's Russian tournament.

For winger Gudmundsson it's a dream come true after last year's success at the Euros.

"This is great," said Gudmundsson. "I just do not know what to say. We just go to the World Cup, that's all that matters.

"This has been the dream of all Icelanders who are interested in football. The World Cup is the biggest thing in football and we will be there later.

"I can not wait for next summer and hope we'll do even better than we are now!"
