Burnley still have room for improvement – Dyche

Burnley have made an impressive start to the new season and after their unexpected 1-0 win at Everton, they find themselves sixth in the league.

The Clarets have been particularly impressive on the road this season and have won at Chelsea and drawn at places like Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton. However, Clarets boss Sean Dyche insists that there is still room for improvement for his side.

"I'm very pleased," Dyche told Sky Sports. "I know there is a bit of noise about how Everton are playing and their tricky start but they have some very good players.

"We didn't come here thinking it would be an easy game and I thought our lads dealt with that very well. We had a bit of a soft start but we grew into the game and scored a great goal.

"We can play when we need to and I think we can play longer and stronger when we have to as well. Finding that mixture to win games is important for us.

"We are a work in progress. There are just signs we are shifting forward."
