Burnley are chasing Stoke City striker Jonathan Walters.

The Daily Mail says Burnley have made a bid worth up to £3million for unsettled Stoke forward Walters.

Walters, 33, has grown increasingly frustrated at his lack of playing time after making just 13 Premier League starts last season.

The Republic of Ireland international has 12 months left on his contract at Stoke but is open to a move after seven years in the Potteries.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche is keen to add their attacking options after scoring just 39 times in the league last season.
