Burnley are in talks to sign Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

The Express & Star says talks between the two clubs are progressing positively over a deal worth £12m.

Villa are said to be happy with the offer made by the Clarets.

Ramsey impressed last season in loan spells in the Championship with Norwich and Middlesbrough, scoring eight goals in 29 total appearances.
