Burnley have recalled Jimmy Dunne from his loan with Fleetwood Town.
The 22-year-old initially moved to Highbury on a season-long deal but is now back at Turf Moor having played 11 times under former Claret Joey Barton.
Dunne had not featured in a League One game since the start of November with his last two appearances coming in the EFL Trophy wins against Oldham and Everton's Under-21s.
Dunne could be on the move again during the January transfer window, reports the Lancashire Evening Telegraph, with Ben Gibson and Kevin Long already waiting in the wings behind first-choice central defensive pairing Ben Mee and James Tarkowski.
