Burnley's move for off contract PSG striker Fabrice Pancrate has hit an impasse.

Clarets boss Owen Coyle wants to take Pancrate for trials this preseason before making him an offer.

But L'Equipe says Pancrate, now without a contract, does not want to risk injury and would prefer to negotiate terms without the trials.
