Burnley boss Dyche wants Ings to 'play with a smile'

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has urged Danny Ings to really enjoy his football.

Dyche loves the fact that the 22-year old striker works tirelessly on his game in order to improve himself but the Clarets boss feels he does not need to place so much pressure on himself.

"His biggest thing is he puts a lot of demands on himself and that could be where your biggest strength is your biggest weakness," Dyche said.

"It's good that he's got a real thirst to improve and I think a lot of the players have, it's part of our belief about how the culture should be here.

"But it has to be balanced with that sort of enjoyment and often say to him 'Play with a smile' and I think he's at his best when he does, and we're looking for him to continue doing that."
