Burnley boss Sean Dyche is staying calm over their transfer push.
The Clarets have already brought in six players over the summer - Marvin Sordell (from Bolton), Matt Gilks (from Blackpool), Matt Taylor (from West Ham) and Steven Reid (from West Brom) arriving on free transfers, as well as Lukas Jutkiewicz (£2.5m from Middlesbrough) and Michael Kightly (undisclosed from Stoke).
Dyche said: "There are a few things ongoing at the moment.
"They are longer term processes than we expected but sometimes that's the nature of it. We can't just throw money around willy nilly - we have to be careful with it and wise with it.
"Things are a little bit protracted but there are a couple of things we think will fall into place so we're still working on them."
