Burnley boss Owen Coyle is being linked with Bolton Wanderers following the dismissal of Gary Megson yesterday.

The Lancashire Telegraph says Coyle is being linked with a return to Bolton Wanderers following the departure of Megson.

Bolton sacked Megson following last night's 2-2 draw at home to Hull City and a Wanderers supporters chief has already suggested that Coyle, who played for the club between 1993 and 1995, would be a popular choice as replacement.

The Scot, however, has already turned down an approach from Celtic this year.
