Burnley are chasing Scunthorpe United striker Gary Hooper.

The People says Burnley boss Brian Laws is ready to make a £1.5million bid for young Scunthorpe hot shot Hooper - and give him a crack at the Premier League.

Laws is a big fan of the 21-year-old Hooper who has been a major success for one of his old clubs and could be sold in the transfer window, with Bristol City also making an offer for him.
