Burnley have won the race for Cork City defender Kevin Long.

Long was courting interest from Burnley, Leeds United, Charlton Athletic and Scottish giants Celtic.

But the Daily Mail says Republic of Ireland U21 international defender Long has agreed terms with Owen Coyle's Burnley.

The 19 year-old will complete his move in January.
