Former Chelsea star Craig Burley says he was axed for the 1997 FA Cup final because he refused to sign a new contract.
Blues boss Ruud Gullit left the Scot out of the big day and Burley admits some of his family still remain upset!
He told the The Sun: "I'd refused to sign a new contract which the club had offered me.
"Having played in the quarter-final and the semi-final I'd fully expected to at least play some part in the final. But he [Ruud Gullit] named the team on the morning of the game and never spoke to me about it.
"Safe to say I wasn't happy about his man management, or lack of it, on the big day. It was quite upsetting for my family. My wife went up to the bathroom and she was crying.
"That was 15 years ago and I believe she's still in there now she was so upset, I haven't seen her since!"
