Fenerbahce coach Erol Bulut is excited by the prospect of calling on Mesut Ozil.
Released from his contract at Arsenal, Ozil's move to the Gunners was confirmed on Monday by Fenerbahce. He has now officially signed a three-and-a-half year contract with the Istanbul giants.
It ends over seven years with the London giants, where the former Germany international won three FA Cups in Arsenal Red.
Bulut was appointed Fener head coach last year, marking a return to the club having spent four years as a player early in his career. And for the 45 year-old, he admits he's excited by the prospect of working with one of the best players for his position in the world.
Quoted by Fanatik, Bulut stated: "There is no need to talk about Mesut's quality. Mesut Özil is among the top 10 players of the world in my eyes at number 10. A great talent, quality ... As a human being, we already see a brother of good character.
"Mesut will make a great contribution to our game philosophy. His teammates have to help him. He will definitely help the attackers with his quality. They need to understand each other well.
"As for Fenerbahçe, we will answer the mistakes made to Mesut in the past, both in England and in Germany.
"We need to analyse it well. He did not experience the preseason camp with the team. We have a period of 21 games ahead of us. I think it will be difficult to change the complete system for a player in the current situation. That's why Mesut will take his place in our current system in the best way.
"Mesut is such a footballer that when the ball comes to his feet, he connects 3-4 players. While we have the ball, this will give us advantages."
Fener currently sit in third place on the Super Lig table, five points behind leaders Besiktas - though with a game in hand. Fener are in action tonight at home to Kayserispor.
