Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is ready to kickoff his summer clearout.
The likes of former Colchester defender Greg Halford, ex-Aberdeen centre-back Russell Anderson and Irish strikers Roy O'Donovan and Anthony Stokes all spent most of last season away from Wearside on loan and all are set to be offloaded this summer.
The Evening Chronicle says there could be chances, however, for other fringe players such as forwards Daryl Murphy and David Healy, defender Paul McShane and winger Carlos Edwards.
