Wes Brown is confident Sunderland, who kept their first clean sheet of the season against Swansea, can emulate this feat against Chelsea on Saturday. The former Manchester United defender is expecting a tough test, but is confident about his side's prospects.
"We know it's going to be difficult on Saturday," Brown told the Sunderland website. "We're at home and we want to show the fans what we can do.
"We'll get better and better with each game and hopefully we can continue that against Chelsea.
"Defensively we're solid and we're creating chances, which is the main thing.
"We created more against Swansea, now we just have to put a couple away and we'll settle ourselves down and get into the flow of things.
"We've got a good base to work from defensively. We have a good group and that's something to work from.
"It's frustrating. We've had good opportunities and I'm sure it'll come. Maybe we can help out from set pieces too."
It's the home stretch!
