Manchester United star Mason Mount's brother has hit out at social media criticism of the midfielder.
Mount made his competitive debut for the Red Devils in a 1-0 win over Wolves at Old Trafford on Monday.
Despite getting all three points, United were the inferior side and could have been pegged back for a draw if Wolves were awarded a late penalty.
A tweet from the talkSPORT account read: "Mason Mount's Premier League debut for Manchester United: 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 chances created, 0 crosses, 0 tackles won, 0 aerial duels won..."
"I've tried to let this go all day," Mount's brother wrote in a story on Instagram.
"But honestly, shame on you @talksport. These players, no, these PEOPLE get enough abuse without you adding fuel to the fire.
"A reminder that he's had a very successful 18-year career in football, and is a good, kind human being."
