The brother of Liverpool signing Iago Aspas is hoping to break into English football also.

The Daily Star Sunday says Jonathan Aspas is having a trial with Tranmere Rovers.

Aspas, 31, played for Rovers in their pre-season friendly against Cammell Laird on Monday.

And boss Ronnie Moore is keen to have another look at the ex-Celta Vigo man as he aims to bolster his midfield.
