Broja floating after scoring in Chelsea win at Fulham

Chelsea striker Armando Broja was floating after scoring in victory at Fulham last night.

In his first start since undergoing knee surgery before Christmas, Broja struck early into the first-half.

He told chelseafc.com afterwards: "It's an unbelievable feeling.

"It's been a long time coming. I've been out for a while so it's good to be back. I'm so happy for the team to win the game and carry on this momentum going forward. It's an even better feeling for myself to get my first goal of the season on my first start, so I'm just thankful.

"It's amazing. I always dreamed as a little kid of playing in the Premier League and scoring as many goals as I can. It's just an unbelievable feeling to be on my first start and score in a derby. There's no better feeling than to get the three points and to score.

"As a striker they all count, no matter how it goes in – a goal's a goal. It's important for strikers to score confidence-wise, it's just a big drive going forward. But the most important thing is the three points. We were struggling a bit, but it's two wins on the bounce now and hopefully we can continue that momentum going forward."
