British Prime Minister David Cameron is ready to help Aston Villa find a new owner.
Cameron is a big Villa fan.
The Mirror says on a flying visit to the Birmingham Mail's Fort Dunlop offices today, he took time to share his thoughts on what Paul Lambert's men needed to do to get back on track.
He offered to find Villa a new megabucks backer while talking to editor Dave Brookes and sports writer Gregg Evans, much to their humour.
Mr Cameron added that what the club needs is long-term investment regardless of the nationality of the owner.
