The chairman of the England bid to host the football World Cup in 2018 has said the event would benefit the country's economy by at least £3billion. Andy Anson said "I am sure that once our technical plans are finalised next year, our final study will show an even bigger benefit to the economy."
England is among 11 bidders to stage either the 2018 or 2022 tournaments. FIFA will decide the hosts in December next year.
