Bristol City pondering move for ex-Rangers, Middlesbrough striker Boyd

Bristol City boss Derek McInnes is believed to be showing plenty of interest in Kris Boyd.

The 28-year old former Kilmarnock, Rangers, Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest striker is out of contract after having his deal with Turkish outfit Eskisehirspor terminated in December and could be an option for the Robins.

McInnes is set to lose current goal ace Nicky Maynard to Wigan Athletic and the ex-‘Gers man could be tempted to give his fellow former Ibrox servant another shot in the Championship.
