Bristol City boss Liam Manning was delighted with their 1-1 draw with FA Cup opponents West Ham.

Tommy Conway canceled out Jarrod Bown's fourth minute opener to earn City a replay at London stadium.

Manning later said: "Delighted with the lads, especially second half. We started slowly but the way we responded was terrific.

"In the second half we showed conviction and bravery high up. I'm proud of the lads.

"The lads deserve so much credit against difficult opposition.

"We have to take the learning from it and use it as a benchmark. You can't just raise your game for Premier League opposition in the cup at a big ground. You have to transfer it into the league."
