Brighton veteran Milner: West Ham draw really disappointing

Brighton veteran James Milner admitted some frustration after their 0-0 draw with West Ham.

Milner felt they could've done more on the night.

He said: "Really disappointing from our point of view. We controlled the game, especially the second half, and created the chances. We didn't quite get the goal. We hadn't had a clean sheet all year and managed to get one today but we can't quite put the ball in the back of the other net.

"I thought it was a solid performance, particularly from some of the lads coming back who haven't had much football, Pervis [Estupinan] and Webby [Webster] coming in and doing the job they did, they were outstanding.

"We created the chances to win the game, but couldn't quite get the goal. Ultimately there are plenty of positives to take but we came for the three points and only got one but hopefully we can build on the clean sheet in the new year. It should help us push forward with the firepower we've got upfront."
