Brighton and Hove Albion prospect Alexis Mac Allister hopes that he can learn from Carlos Tevez at Boca Juniors.

The attacking midfielder is going on loan to the Buenos Aires giants for the entire 2019/20 season.

And Mac Allister hopes he can learn from the experience and eventually come back to Brighton a better player.

He said to reporters: "Playing for Boca is always a big challenge.

"I really admire a few players who are there.

"People like Carlos, who is a great reference point of the club.

"I need to show people and to myself that I can be of the level of these big players. That's my ambition.

"Tevez had a career that nobody – or very few people – can match."
