Brighton News: Knockaert welcomes Ulloa reunion; Rosenior hails matchwinner Murray

Brighton striker Anthony Knockaert is backing their move for Leicester City centre-forward Leonardo Ulloa.

The pair played together for the Foxes and could be reunited if Ulloa's intended loan return to the Amex comes off.

Knockaert told The Argus: "I played with him so I know that he is a good player obviously. He is such a great guy as well so it would be nice.

"But the players are just focussed on the football and the club knows what they need to do to get better and better. If he comes he would be welcomed and especially me, I know Leo really well, so it would be nice to have him."

Meanwhile, Seagulls defender Liam Rosenior was delighted for Glenn Murray after he scored the winner in the FA Cup triumph over Middlesbrough.

Murray, arrested in midweek for alleged tax evasion, came off the bench to score the winner at Middlesbrough.

Skipper for the day Rosenior said: “He is a great professional.

“We all have things that happen in our private lives - some good, some bad.

“The most important thing is we are good professionals.

“That is something that Glenn most definitely is."
