Brighton midfielder Caicedo says Estupinan proving himself Prem class

Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo says Pervis Estupinan is now proving himself Premier League quality.

The 24-year-old defender joined from Villarreal in the summer and Caicedo is delighted with his impact.

“The truth is in every game he has played he has shown why he is here," Caicedo told the club's.

“I feel very good for him, very happy, because he is doing really well in matches – and during the week [in training] as well.

“He is a very dangerous player on the flanks but he also knows how to defend well and I have a good understanding with him."

Estupinan played an integral role in Albion's third goal against Chelsea on Saturday, as his cross was diverted past Kepa Arrizabalaga in the 4-1 rout.
