Manchester City midfielder Gai Assulin is staying on-loan at Brighton to the end of the season.

The 20-year-old Israeli midfielder moved to the south coast in February on an initial month-long deal.

But after making four appearances he has impressed manager Gus Poyet to the extent that he will stay with the Seagulls until 19 May.
