Brighton are hoping to sign Ainsley Maitland-Niles from Arsenal.

The midfielder is very versatile and can also fill in at wing back or full back.

Maitland-Niles is a former England under-21 star and wants to leave the Gunners for regular first team football.

And the Daily Mailreports Brighton could offer him a route out of London.

The 22-year-old has three years remaining on his contract, and would be available for a modest fee.

Arsenal want to sell players to get them off the wage bill and raise funds for their own moves.
