Brighton boss Gus Poyet wants to extend the loan of Arsenal fullback Gavin Hoyte.

The Mirror says Poyet is making his first two signings of the transfer window by taking Czech goalkeeper Peter Brezovan for the rest of the season and Hoyte on loan.

Brezovan was without a club since leaving Swindon last summer while Hoyte will stay with Brighton for the rest of the season after arriving in October from the Emirates.
