Brighton have become the latest team interested in Chelsea whizkid Reece James.

The 19-year-old has excelled on loan at Wigan this season, having been named in the Championship Team of the Season.

Local newspaper The Argus says the Seagulls would prefer to sign James permanently.

However, Chelsea will likely be reluctant to let James leave should their one-year FIFA transfer ban be upheld.

Manchester United have also shown an interest in the versatile defender.
