Brighton captain Dunk: World Cup glory won't change Mac Allister

Brighton captain Lewis Dunk says Alexis Mac Allister won't let World Cup success go to his head.

The Argentina midfielder is returning the south coast this week.

"We have spoken to him and congratulated him - what an achievement," Dunk told the Independent.

"He's a humble guy, a good guy to have in the squad and what a player. He showed his worth in the WC and we are all happy for him. We can't wait to have him back in the squad and for him to play for us again because he brings a lot.

"I don't think it (the success) will change anything. He's a down-to-earth guy, he works hard. He's won the World Cup and we're all happy for him, he's happy, so I don't think it's going to change anything when he comes back here. I think he will be ready to drive again, continue to learn from this coach and continue to develop as an individual and as a team."
