Brighton boss Potter makes clear Gross plans

Brighton boss Graham Potter says he doesn't want to lose Pascal Gross.

The 30-year-old joined Albion at the beginning of the 2017/18 campaign – Albion's first back in the top flight – and has made 147 Premier League appearances.

In that time he has contributed the most Premier League assists in an Albion shirt (26), the third best of any German in the division.

Gross's contract with the club comes to an end in June, but Potter hopes to see the midfielder stick around for a few more seasons.

“He has been an important player during our time in the Premier League. He has played a huge role in that," said Potter.

“Pascal is an important player in the group. I have really enjoyed working with him and hopefully we can look forward to more seasons [together]."
