Brighton boss Graham Potter is delighted with Ben White's progress.
The defender is starring on-loan with Leeds United this season.
Potter said: “It's a great experience for him at Leeds.
“It's why you go on loan, to have that challenge.
“He's done really well and now they have a chance to get to the Premier League.
“It's the business end of the season and it's fascinating to see how it goes."
Asked about the midfield role, Potter said: “I'm not really surprised.
“He's got the qualities. He's that type of centre back - mobile and can take the ball and pass the ball.
“He's got that quality. And he's in the hands of a very, very good coach so whatever Marcel (Bielsa) decides is fine by me."
