Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba is not being criticized by his manager or anyone at the club.

The talented youngster is being told he is making progress in his quest to become a top Premier League player.

He played an important role in the first goal in their 1-1 draw with Burnley, but made a mistake at the other end.

Post-game, per The Argus, Albion head coach Roberto De Zerbi said: “Yes, I think he played a good game.

“Carlos is improving in this last part of the season.

“We can't forget he is 20 and I don't know how many games in the Premier League he has had.

“We have to respect that and we have to respect our policy."
