Brighton boss De Zerbi: I'm trying to change Sanchez game

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi believes goalkeeper Robert Sanchez can get even better.

The shot stopper has been very good so far under De Zerbi, with the coach a huge admirer of the 25-year-old.

A recent error against Crystal Palace did not phase the manager, as he believes Sanchez is a significant net positive for the team.

The Seagulls boss said, per The Argus: “I think he is playing well. He can play better and I am speaking about my idea of football.

“But it's not easy to change the vision, to change the habits for him.

“He is Spanish but in football he is English.

“He needs more time to understand and to arrive at perfection.

“But I am waiting for him. With him I have one of the best relationships and there isn't a problem with him.

“He has a big personality but I want him to play with much personality."
