Brighton assistant manager Maldera opens Napoli door for De Zerbi

Brighton assistant manager Andrea Maldera has declared Roberto De Zerbi would be open to a move to Napoli.

De Zerbi is among the names being linked with the Azzurri at the end of the season, where Slovakia coach Francesco Calzona is currently in charge on a caretaker basis.

Maldera told Radio Kiss Kiss: "He's in love with Italy, it's his country and Napoli are back among his favourite teams.

"We're fine at Brighton, we have another two years on our contract, then if an offer came from Italy, and also from Naples, Roberto would take it into consideration.

"I don't know, but why say no to a place like Naples?"
