Napoli's interest in Roma midfielder Matteo Brighi has been confirmed by his agent.

"Napoli are strongly interested in Brighi," Vanni Puzzolo insisted on Naples' Radio Kiss Kiss. "We spoke to them a week ago and there will be no problem finding an agreement, so it depends on Roma.

"I've already spoken with sporting director Daniele Prade and I know for sure that Luciano Spalletti rates him, so we will have to put pressure on if there is to be a sale."
