Brentford have a deal in place for Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom.
The Fulham Chronicle says Brentford are in advanced discussions to secure his signature on an initial one-month deal.
The frontman is scheduled to play for Arsenal's Under-18s in their FA Youth Cup tie against Peterborough on Monday, but should be signed in time for the League One clash with Port Vale at Griffin Park on January 11.
