Brentford striker Lasse Vibe says Bristol City have landed a Premier League class player in Gustav Engvall.

The former IFK Gothenburg attacker signed for City yesterday, having come close to joining Stoke City over the past six months.

Speaking to Göteborgs-Posten, Vibe was asked about his former teammate and whether he could ever be his agent.

"Now? I have been so for many years! No, but if I had been there, he'd be playing in the Premier League. I'd have made sure!" replied Vibe.

"It's great that he gets the chance to go abroad and fun that he comes here. Bristol is not so far from London so we will of course be seeing and playing against each other. But it's fun for him, it is a good step."
